Always great food. Always washes and amazing personality. You can order ahead if needed. Very filling and not over priced for the about of food you get. Super sized hot dogs and loads of toppings.
The owner goes above and beyond to deliver phenomenal food and customer service. Probably went about 10 times when I lived in Sarnia and have had absolutely no complaints. Even after he removed the Big Juan from the menu, he would still make it for me if I gave him a phonecall in advance. The owner is also quite active in the community and has a big heart!
I've been getting food from Jake for years. He has a small menu of his usual offerings, but if you have a craving for anything he can whip it up. His potato salad and homemade caeser dressing are out of this world. The picture I have included is one of his family meal deals I got with penne pasta, large garlic bread, caeser salad ( with the amazing dressing, homemade croutons and real bacon) and minestrone soup. His prices are great for the amount of food you receive. If you haven't tried Philly Cheese Jakes yet, what are you waiting for? You won't be disappointed.
Very deceiving. Don't judge a book by its cover. First, Jake, quite a wonderful man. Very friendly and very helpful. Let us eat inside at a staff table because of the bees outside. My son spilled his pop and Jake was super chill about it. Second, the food. The foot long Philly looked massive. It was so very yummy and after eating it all I didn't feel stuffed. Usually after a meal that big I'd feel horrible.The bread he uses is very light which helps. The meat and filling were just so tasty. Jake has two more fans

Owner is amazing. Put so much creative and efforts into making my food vegan. I really appreciated it greatly. I recommend that you drop by and try their foods out. BBQ sauce is spicy and amazing!!!!
Restaurant quality sandwiches at a good price. Pulled pork Pedro was incredibly filling, tasted great, and was ready quickly. Owner was incredibly nice. Interior design is very welcoming and quaint, if a lot to take in at first. Highly recommend.
Jake is incredible! As the sign says "Best Philly in Town"... Great service and really good food - made fresh as you wait. Jake always has creative specials, including this Wagyu Beef grilled cheese!
